2023 Autumn / Winter Meetup Reservations Now Open
free stitch is pleased to announce reservations are now open for our 2023 Autumn / Winter Meetup Festivals.
Every year free stitch holds special Meetup events for a variety of dog breeds where owners and dogs can enjoy a wide range of activities ranging from agility competitions to raffles and tombolas.
Funds raised from participation fees will be used to support charitable activities that raise awareness of issues facing the pet industry in Japan. We hope that by having more people participate in the event, we can help enrich the lives of everyone and their dogs.
In the second half of 2023, we are planning to hold Meetup events for the following breeds in the Kanto area of Japan:
- French Bulldog MEET UP 2023 (2023.10.7.Sat)
- Dachshund MEET UP 2023 (2023.10.8.Sun)
- Yorkshire Terrier MEET UP 2023 (2023.10.9.Mon)
- Corgi Festival 2023 (2023.10.21.Sat)
- Shih Tzu Festival 2023 (2023.10.22.Sun)
- Doodle MEET UP 2023 (2023.11.3.Fri)
- Cocker Spaniel Festival 2023 (2023.11.4.Sat)
- Poodle MEET UP 2023 (2023.11.5.Sun)
- Chihuahua Festival 2023 (2023.11.11.Sat)
- Italian Greyhound Festival 2023 (2023.11.12.Sun)
- Retriever Day 2023 (2023.11.25.Sat)
- Beagle MEET UP 2023 (2023.11.26.Sun)
- Maltese MEET UP 2023 (2023.12.3.Sun)

At our Meetups, we offer training and obedience sessions conducted by our regular specialist trainers from around Japan who have years of experience in giving advice on a wide range of breeds.
Held in carefully selected outdoor locations, owners, dogs, and their families can enjoy a full day of fresh air communication, and play while taking in some of the beautiful Japanese nature sights.
We regularly upload videos and content on SNS showcasing highlights from our past Meetup events, so please subscribe to our official YouTube channel!
We currently offer the Meetup events in Japanese language support only; however, everyone is welcome to attend.
For more information on each breed, Meetup Festival dates, and locations, please visit our Japanese site and select the breed you wish to view information on.
If you wish to make a reservation to attend a Meetup event:
- Please visit our reservation page (Japanese only)
- Select the breed
- Select the number of participants and click ‘apply’
- Complete the registration form at checkout to complete your reservation for the Meetup Event
We also offer on-the-day participation (extra fees apply and are subject to availability).
