Dog Friendly Office Project Update: Staff Dog Kazuha-kun Visited the free stitch Office

In December, one of our staff members brought their dog called ‘Kazuha’ to the free stitch office.

Kazuha (or ‘Kazuha-kun’), a male black labrador retriever, came into the free stitch office and was very excited to have a good sniff around and greet all the staff. During his owner’s lunch break, they went for a walk together around Shibuya and Kazuha enjoyed playing with his favourite toys at the park.

In the spirit of ‘Enriching the Workplace with Your Dog" at free stitch, we started the ‘Dog Friendly Office Project’ in September 2019. Large dogs like Kazuha often need more exercise than smaller dogs so they need to have a good walk and play during the lunch break.

At free stitch, we ask that walking and exercise be done during our employees’ lunch break so that work can continue as usual during business hours.

We look forward to having Kazuha-kun to the office again!

For more information about vaccinations and other precautions for coming to work with pets, we have drafted a set of guidelines to use as reference.
