free stitch Meetup Events

At free stitch, as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting a better quality of life and to share the joys of living together with dogs, free stitch holds regular breed Meetup events each season. 

Through our regular information seminars, charity photoshoots, and fundraising activities, we hope to change the future for the better for unwanted and abandoned pets in Japan and around the world. 

We feel that our Meetup events are the perfect platform to help bring people and pets closer together. 

In 2020 and 2021, we held Meetup events for a variety of dog breeds. Some of the Meetup events we held were for the following breeds:

We are always on the lookout to hold more events for a wider variety of breeds of dogs. Our aim is to engage as many people who live together with dogs as possible so they can enjoy the best of what our events have to offer.  

When planning a Meetup event, we carefully select dog breeds and themes based on country of origin, coat color, grouping, etc. so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the events and meet with others who share their passion for dogs. 

If we receive enough applications to hold a Meetup event for a particular breed or grouping of dogs, we will create a new event!

If you are interested in joining one of our Meetup events, please apply via our Japanese site. 

If you wish to make a reservation to attend a Meetup event:

1. Please visit our reservation page (*Japanese only)
2. Select the breed
3. Select the number of participants and click ‘apply’ 
4. Complete the registration form at checkout to complete your reservation for the Meetup Event

We also offer on-the-day participation (extra fees apply and are subject to availability). 

Please note that we are required to follow COVID-19 safety protocol at all of our events.

*At this time, we offer only Japanese language support for our booking procedure, and our events are held mainly in Japanese; however, if the number of English-speaking participants increases in the future, we may be able to provide English language support upon request.
