In the spirit of ‘Enriching the Workplace with Your Dog' at free stitch, we started the ‘Dog Friendly Office Project’ in September 2019.
We have been working hard to keep everyone informed through the Dog Friendly Office Project blog series about the benefits of having an environment where staff and pets can enjoy a proactive working life together.
However, we felt that we would like to take things one step further by opening invitations to attend the Dog Friendly Office Day at the free stitch Shibuya showroom on Wednesday 12th May 2021 (TBD).
We will hold an open day information seminar and Q&A session to explain the advantages of the Dog Friendly Office Project and how it can improve your lifestyle.
We will also be conducting dog 'office assessments' to see how your dog might react in a business environment and if there are any issues that can help them adjust to going to work with you on a regular basis.
Additional attendance benefits include a charity photo shoot session and free stitch original treat gift. We will also provide a free gift for those who post about the event on social media (details will be provided on the day).

This slot is open to the general public or students who are interested in taking their pets to work in the future. Additionally, this slot is for students who are interested in becoming an intern at free stitch.

Corporate Attendees : 15:00 -18:00 JST (Advance Reservations Only)
This time slot is open to companies that are considering making their office Dog Friendly in the future and would like to know more about how to set up the project.
We also welcome those who are curious about the Dog Friendly Office Project and would like to know more!

Most of the free stitch team are pet owners, and we are always thinking about ways to improve the lives of not only our own dogs and cats, but the lives of pets in Japan in general. We have scheduled for our staff to bring their pets to the office on the Dog Friendly Office Day, so it will be a great opportunity to see how they come to work, interact with animals in the workplace, and ask any questions.
In the future, we hope to have professional trainers and behavioral experts come in to give advice and support for people who bring pets into the office, so stay tuned for more developments!
