In this week’s blog, we are asking the question ‘has your company ever considered allowing pets into the office?’

We launched a questionnaire to gather thoughts and opinions about bringing your dog or pet to work. In this questionnaire, we asked people whether the conditions of their place of work have the facilities to accommodate pets.   

One of the questions we asked was: 

How convenient is it to bring your pet to work? 

As a way for us to give back to the pet community in Japan, we collect donations from participants at our Charity Photoshoot and Meetup events via our fundraising collection.

free stitch was proud to be a member of the 2021 Interpets exhibition group held between 1st April to 4th April 2021 at Tokyo Big Sight. 

At free stitch, we are continuing to do our part to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 by encouraging our staff to work from home as much as possible. 

Working from home not only reduces the amount of time commuting and keeping yourself and others safe from the spread of infection, but also allows you to spend more time at home with your beloved pet. 

In a continuous effort to promote the welfare of dogs and cats who are abandoned, need homes, or are mistreated in Japan, we are looking for ways to support and raise awareness of volunteers who can help improve the lives of those less fortunate.

What do you like best about going to work with your pet? In this blog we are going to look at one of the benefits are of bringing your pet to the office.  

Update: Due to the recent announcement of the COVID-19 State of Emergency in Tokyo, The Dog Friendly Office Day has been postponed until further notice. We will post an update once the new date has been decided.
